Our intergenerational programs foster connection and growth among all generations, ensuring that children, teens, adults and seniors thrive together in a supportive, enriching environment.
Our approach
Steps we take to strengthen our community.
Engagement · Collaboration · Empowerment
Engagement
We start by listening — to families, teens and seniors — and build programmes around what the community actually asks for.
Collaboration
Sessions are shared across generations, so children learn from elders and elders stay connected to young people.
Empowerment
Every participant leaves with a skill, a contact and a next step — not just an afternoon out.
01
Educational Programs
Our educational programs offer children and teens the tools they need for academic success and personal growth. We provide workshops and tutoring that build confidence and readiness for school and future challenges.
02
Technology Training
We provide technology training for all ages, ensuring that seniors remain connected and engaged. Our programs promote digital literacy, helping participants navigate modern technology and enhancing their daily lives.
03
Wellness Initiatives
Gammy’s House offers wellness initiatives focusing on mental, physical and emotional health. From fitness classes to mindfulness workshops, our services aim to promote holistic well-being across generations.
04
Mentorship Programs
Our mentorship programs pair teens with positive adult role models, fostering leadership skills and personal development. These relationships empower youth while bringing connection and wisdom from experienced members of the community.
05
Family Support
We provide resources and support for families, helping them navigate challenges and access opportunities for economic growth. Workshops, counselling and community resources are available to strengthen family bonds and resilience.
Who we serve
Every age has a seat at the table.
Youth, families and seniors share the same house, the same kitchen and the same calendar.

Families
Support. Resources. Community.
Helping families build stronger foundations through education, resources, wellness initiatives and family-centred programming.
Seniors

Common questions
Inside our intergenerational programs
Are the intergenerational programs free?
Most sessions are free or low-cost, and we never turn a family away because of cost. Partner-funded places are available for tutoring, technology training and wellness classes, so ask when you get in touch.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking helps us plan materials, but drop-ins are welcome at most sessions. Call or message us before your first visit and we will tell you which of our intergenerational programs has space this week.
What ages do the programs serve?
From school-age children to seniors in their eighties. Some sessions are age-specific, such as youth leadership or senior technology training, while others deliberately mix generations around one table.
How do I choose the right programme?
Tell us who is joining and what they hope to gain. We will point you to the session that fits best — tutoring, technology training, wellness, mentorship or family support — and you can try a taster before committing.
Can organisations partner with Gammy’s House?
Yes — schools, churches, clinics and local businesses partner with us on workshops, volunteering and sponsorship. Partnerships are how our intergenerational programs reach more families each year.
